Terms of Service

By creating an account or using kiro, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create a kiro account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use kiro for any of the following: illegal activity, infringing on others' intellectual property, hosting or distributing malware, sending spam, abusing our URL-proxy infrastructure to attack other systems (including SSRF, request smuggling, or rate-limit evasion), reverse-engineering the service, or scraping our pages outside reasonable use.

Payment, refunds, and billing

Free plan: free forever, no card required.

Paid plans: billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month at the same rate. Annual subscriptions renew automatically each year.

Refunds: we do not offer refunds on partial months. Annual subscriptions are refundable within 14 days of the initial purchase. After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable but can be cancelled to prevent the next renewal.

Cancellation: you can cancel any time from the billing portal. Access continues through the end of the paid period.

Price changes: existing customers will receive at least 30 days' notice before any price increase.

Service availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service on Free, Solo, Studio, or Agency plans. Enterprise plans include a Service Level Agreement with availability guarantees and credits. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice.

Intellectual property

Your content: you retain all rights to the canvases, comments, files, and other content you create or upload. You grant us a limited license to host, transmit, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

Our platform: kiro, the kiro brand, and the underlying software are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without permission.

Feedback to us: if you send us suggestions about the product, we may use them without obligation or compensation.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from workspace settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including for non-payment, abuse, or illegal use. We will provide notice when reasonable; we may not when suspending an account is necessary to protect the service or other users.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

kiro is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Salt Lake County, Utah.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active users by email when changes are material. Continued use of kiro after notice of changes constitutes acceptance.
